Account Ops Coordinator - B2B, Technology, Startups

Leadtail is a fully-remote B2B social media agency headquartered in Portland, OR.

Account Operations Coordinators are the backbone of Leadtail client operations and work closely with our Account Managers. This role typically supports 2-4 account managers and performs a variety of daily duties related to social media ops, project/workflow management, and account management.  Coordinators are the primary backup to their account managers and will have regular, direct client interaction.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience (marketing, customer success, PR/communications, advertising, project management or similar)
  • Active presence on LinkedIn and/or Twitter at a minimum; work with Facebook/Instagram/YouTube/TikTok only is not sufficient for this role
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs/Sheets/Slides, Drive)
  • Ability to work primarily during West Coast business hours
  • Available to start work by October 5, 2022 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare presentations for client meetings
  • Capture notes and commitments from client meetings
  • Create tickets in our workflow system and follow up to ensure completion
  • Set up, monitor, and analyze social listening via Sprout Social
  • Conduct research to better understand client audience and competitors
  • Pull routine web and social metrics and perform basic analysis
  • Monitor social media feeds and ensure escalations are handled and closed out
  • Plan and execute social media calendars (in collaboration with account managers)
  • Create social media posts on the fly (in collaboration with our Content Studio)
  • Document processes as written guidelines and/or short videos
  • Handle day-to-day communications with client contacts via email, Slack, Wrike, etc.
  • Prepare weekly call agenda and accompanying slides
  • Maintain weekly call notes and follow up on action items
  • Review, edit, and approve/accept work products from other teams (e.g. video edits, social copy, ad campaigns)

Bonus points:

  • Prior work in B2B, technology, and/or venture-backed startups
  • Experience with open source software communities and developers
  • Familiarity with database systems, software development, and/or cloud infrastructure
  • Hands on setup and execution of LinkedIn, Twitter, and/or Facebook ads
  • Enthusiasm for and interest in social media, digital marketing, online culture
  • Natural curiosity about the future of digital, social, and community-driven marketing 
  • Demonstrated ability to think through issues and processes, troubleshoot, and problem solve

Pay and benefits:

  • Starting hourly rate for this position is $25/hr
  • We typically do comp reviews and adjustments 1-2 times per year
  • We currently do not offer group health insurance plans
  • Upon successful completion of a 60-day probationary period, we offer W-2 employees:
    • PTO accrual at the rate of 1hr PTO for every 30hrs worked
    • A $250/mo remote work stipend (full time W-2 employees only)
