Leadtail is a small and agile team of marketers and digital specialists with a unique approach to social media for B2B brands. The Graphic Designer will work with our content studio and account management teams to create graphics and short form video for a variety of B2B clients.

Different clients have specific creative needs and parameters. A successful candidate will be able to work in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Premiere Pro to deliver client creatives based on provided specifications, fonts, colors, etc. to create compelling graphics for use on social media platforms. This means working both from templates and on ad hoc projects.

The ideal graphic designer will have a natural aptitude for understanding creative briefs and familiarity with social media best practices and platforms.

This position is freelance, starting at about 20 hours per week with the potential for up to 40 hours per week.


  • Work from client templates to create graphics/video
  • Create templates or aid in the creation of templates for client graphics
  • Produce standardized deliverables on time
  • Communicate with account managers and studio team members regarding projects, timelines, client needs, feedback
  • Be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Incorporate feedback from clients/account managers in timely manner
  • Devise creative strategy with account teams
  • Work within PM Software to manage tickets
  • Manage time to effectively move tickets through process


  • Background in creative design
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Slides, etc.)
  • Ability to work in the Adobe creative suite and Canva
    • Being able to also work in Sketch/Figma is a plus
  • Attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Familiarity with Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
  • Collaboration skills to work with account teams and occasionally clients directly
  • Capacity to understand business objectives and audience demographics
  • B2B experience a plus

A couple key things to know about this role

  • This is an independent contractor position, so you must provide your own laptop, mobile phone, internet service, etc. There may be opportunities to convert to an ongoing role at a later date.
  • Must be usually available during Pacific business hours (start between 7-9 a.m. PT, end between 4-6 p.m. PT)
  • Hourly rate for this contract is $20 - $30 per hour DOE
