Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through testing and analysis. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, and to help improve the overall quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the software development team to understand product requirements.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Create and execute both manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
- Review and validate software bug reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Establish and promote QA guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Continuously enhance existing test automation frameworks.
- Attend agile meetings, providing feedback and suggestions for product improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools.
Required Skills:
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
- Experience with both manual and automated testing, including scripting and coding
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
