About the Role

As a Recruiting Director, you will serve as a functional leader and strategic advisor in building out the recruiting function at EigenLayer. In this role you will be responsible for delivering on hiring goals as the first in-house recruiter alongside creating and optimizing our hiring process, implementing tools and reporting, and documenting best practices to deliver results at scale. . You will partner closely with hiring teams to effectively attract and engage quality diverse talent to the organization, while contributing to broader strategic talent and HR initiatives that build a fast-growing organization. 

In order to do this work effectively, you will need to:

  • Build trust and credibility as a subject matter expert with hiring managers and executive leadership to help shape role requirements, standardize interview assessment criteria to remove bias, and support longer term org design. 
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing through on-site interviewing, negotiating offers, and closing candidates.
  • Develop and execute DE&I initiatives including sourcing strategies that build strong pipelines of top-tier candidates, and internal programs that foster inclusion and a sense of belonging that retains employees.
  • Work with hiring managers to build a discerning evaluation process which selects top-tier candidates while avoiding bias.
  • Deliver an awesome candidate experience which shares insights into our culture, mission, and work and helps candidates self-identify if they are a great match.
  • Set performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage performance.
  • Lead company projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition, engagement, and growth, and HR vendor management.

About you:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience recruiting for technical companies and products in a high-growth start-up environment.
  • Expertise in autonomously running full cycle recruiting efforts to hire candidates in highly technical roles at all levels.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build quick rapport, and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Familiarity with HR and experience partnering with HR leadership or HRBPs across the recruiting and onboarding process.
  • Recognize the blockchain culture and community are different from other professional software industries, and want to embrace and improve it.
