Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated testing, particularly using Katalon Studio. This role will involve developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Script Management:

    • Develop, review, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium/Katalon for web and mobile applications.
    • Create and maintain reusable automation tests for Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing.
    • Optimize test design documents as needed.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Streamline QA processes and standardize testing methodologies and automation best practices.
    • Assist in defining and implementing automation test strategies and roadmaps.
  • Collaboration and Troubleshooting:

    • Collaborate with Business Technology teams to troubleshoot production issues and defects identified during the testing cycle.
    • Support manual QA in identifying automation candidates and keeping test suites up-to-date.
  • Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC):

    • Participate in all phases of STLC, including Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Case Development, and Test Execution.
    • Ensure timely delivery of quality products that meet product requirements and end-user expectations.
  • Quality Assurance Standards:

    • Ensure adherence to current QA processes and standards.
    • Run scheduled batch jobs and maintain all test artifacts centrally.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues encountered during testing.
  • Additional Duties:

    • Perform other duties as requested by the Software QA Manager.
    • Guide and mentor other QA team members on test automation tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 3-5 years of test automation experience in CRM, web, and mobile platforms (Salesforce experience is a plus).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile application testing and development.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and automation using Appium.
    • Strong knowledge of Core Java/Groovy, Web Services, Jenkins, and GIT.
    • Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Automation, Test Design, Test Execution Analysis, and Reporting.
    • Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Katalon, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
    • Familiarity with defect management systems.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills for interfacing with technology teams and business stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving attitude.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Ability to act as a liaison between QA and development teams.
    • Team collaboration and empathy, with a flexible and adaptive approach.
  • Desirable Traits:

    • Strong desire to expand test automation capabilities.
    • Proficiency in Quality Assurance policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
