We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator / Release Manager to join our team for a 3-month project, with potential for extension

Responsibilities:

  • Provision Salesforce sandboxes for development and testing purposes.
  • Create user accounts and manage permissions and access levels within Salesforce.
  • Plan and coordinate between Innovation Teams and Everyday Teams for the deployment of Salesforce changes.
  • Improve existing best practices for the joint Salesforce deployment between the new Innovation Teams and existing Everyday Teams.
  • Stay updated on the official Salesforce releases and participate in release night maintenance.
  • Manage Git repositories for Salesforce projects, including creating repositories, setting up branches, and maintaining repository organization.
  • Oversee branching strategies within Git to support development, testing, and production environments, ensuring alignment with project requirements and best practices.
  • Facilitate the merging of code changes between branches, resolving conflicts as necessary to maintain a clean and functional codebase.

Skills: 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles. 
  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce administration, including sandbox management, user account creation, and permission set assignments.
  • Strong understanding of Git version control system, including but not limited to: branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and pull requests.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Salesforce metadata using version control, ensuring proper tracking and documentation of changes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in a Salesforce environment, integrating Git as a central component.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across different departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
