Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address information security risks.
Design, implement, and manage information security solutions and infrastructure.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability assessments.
Monitor security alerts, incidents, and respond to security breaches promptly.
Implement and manage security protocols, encryption, and access controls.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
Develop and implement incident response plans and security policies.
Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry best practices.
Provide guidance on security awareness training for employees.
Participate in the planning and execution of information security projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in implementing and managing security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing.
Knowledge of encryption algorithms, PKI, and secure protocols.
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate security concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of network security and protocols.
Understanding of security in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with endpoint protection and mobile device security.
