**This is a temporary role, that will work in a 3 to 6 month contract**
Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage and analytics solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain the overall Snowflake architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and data requirements.

Performance Optimization:
- Implement best practices to optimize Snowflake performance and ensure efficient data processing.
- Collaborate with development teams to fine-tune queries and optimize data pipelines.

Scalability and Capacity Planning:
- Assess system scalability and plan for future growth, ensuring the Snowflake platform can meet evolving business needs.
- Conduct capacity planning exercises to anticipate and address data storage and processing requirements.

Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard data within the Snowflake environment.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and operations, to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to share insights, progress, and recommendations related to the Snowflake architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Snowflake certification.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with other data warehousing solutions and technologies.
