This is an exciting new role that will sit on the Product Leadership team to help deliver the value of our Experimentation product to our customers. We are looking for a talented and inspirational product leader to help increase our focus and investment in this product line. The ideal candidate would have first-hand experience building and/or heavily using experimentation tools in a high-volume production context.

We seek a strategic thinker with the ability to combine business acumen and technical know-how to develop and drive a bold product vision. This role will have a clear, direct and measurable impact on company revenue, and we are looking for someone excited to take that responsibility, make wise trade-offs, and drive successful outcomes for the business. We believe that every software team can benefit from running experiments and we want your help making that vision a reality.

What you'll get to do: 

  • Lead the long-term strategy, planning and execution for the Experimentation product.

  • Define key success measures, with direct and indirect revenue impact, for the business' performance and drive relentless focus towards helping achieve them.

  • Lead, directly and indirectly, several teams of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver a successful product.

  • Help your team understand their mission and how they fit in with the overall business goals and inspire them to deliver while keeping them motivated, empowered, growing and happy.

  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Leadership to develop repeatable models for hitting annual revenue and customer targets.

  • Champion experimentation internally and externally – demonstrate that LaunchDarkly is leading how teams use experimentation and measurement to build great software.

On day one, you should have:

  • A track record of building and growing exceptional product teams that produce clear business impact.

  • A history of working with cross disciplinary teams and ensuring that Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue are delivering your product’s potential.

  • Professional experience with an experimentation platform, either building one or expert-level use with existing tools. Fluency with the statistics underpinning experimentation.

  • Direct experience leading strategy for SaaS product, and being responsible for tracking results back to the business OKRs.

  • 7+ years managing a team of Product and/or Engineering Managers.

  • Skills and knowledge that will establish credibility with your team. A passion for sharing that knowledge and helping to raise the bar for everyone you work with.

All LaunchDarkly Product Leaders should have:

  • Understanding of modern software development lifecycles including common tools, processes, and bottlenecks.

  • Experience taking products from concept to launch.

  • Experience building Developer Tools with an API-first approach.

  • Working on highly-distributed, high-volume services with 24/7 operational needs.
