LaunchDarkly is looking for a strategic thinker, problem-solver, and operational analyst to join the Office of the Revenue Chief of Staff. Our mission is to drive the effectiveness of the Revenue organization by identifying, defining, and executing strategic initiatives in partnership with Go-to-Market leadership. You will own and support programs that directly impact Revenue’s Metrics that Matter and accelerate LaunchDarkly’s growth. We are the Oracle of the Revenue organization, we identify challenges our organization faces now and predict challenges in the future. We use first-principles thinking to define problems, utilize market research to build recommendations, and present solutions to inform Revenue’s strategic decisions. You’ll have a direct impact on the success of our strategic initiatives including, but not limited to, cross-functional program management and alignment, scale processes across Revenue, drive key projects that you and Revenue identified as critical to unlocking growth.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the Go-to-Market team by defining problems, building programs, and driving them to completion.

  • Utilize first principles to guide problem-solving and systems thinking and design

  • Identify and build new processes that will scale in our next phase of growth

  • Join the SVP of Revenue and Senior Leadership Team on strategic initiatives ranging from annual OKRs like defining LaunchDarkly Adoption or Headcount planning to quarterly process improvements and playbooks for our Revenue organization.

  • Leverage the field team for feedback on initiatives through Revenue committees.

  • Help Chief of Staff prepare for key meetings and presentations and provide support to Chief of Staff and SVP of Revenue for special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years in Consulting or Business Operations in SaaS.

  • Growth mindset, deeply curious and eager to invest in your own growth

  • Excellent communicator with an obsession for thinking through writing and documentation

  • Effective use of Presentations, Spreadsheets, and Documentation tools like Confluence.

  • Problem solver, just as passionate about how to solve problems and as solving the problems themselves

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, project manage cross-functionally and drive action

  • Strategic thinker, with an ability to break down complex problems, identify and overcome business challenges

  • Leverage and interpret data in BI platforms, like Looker, Domo, or Tableau, to inform decision making and problem investigation.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of SaaS metrics

  • Deep understanding of how Revenue and Sales organizations work

  • Experience working with Executive stakeholders;

  • Experience with budget development, tracking, and resource mapping;

  • Ability to communicate gaps/obstacles across multiple core audiences (Go-To-Market, Product Delivery, People & Talent, Finance, etc.);
