YOUR ROLE

Utilizing your outstanding design skills grounded in data, you will craft designs that seamlessly merge functionality with visual appeal, addressing the requirements of our partners, internal stakeholders, and SEO initiatives. This is integral to our ongoing company expansion. You  will be responsible for creating user experiences that are intuitive, responsive, and scalable. These experiences should not only provide exceptional customer-first interactions but also meet and surpass Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) goals.

Your role will include uncovering insights, identifying opportunities and requirements, and presenting them to both peers and leadership. Additionally, you will initiate experiments, assess their performance, and collaborate with the engineering team to iterate and implement tests or features.

Achieving success in this position will stem from  your expertise in data-driven UI & UX design, mobile design, branding, and online marketing/advertising. Your role involves developing inventive and responsive design solutions for both mobile and web products, emphasizing optimization for conversions. You will contribute to the entire life cycle, spanning from initial sketches and conceptual wires to high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and through to development and implementation. Collaborating closely with the product team and cross-functional groups, your focus will be on consistently enhancing and optimizing UX to maximize conversion rates and achieve specific goals within the funnel.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Independently create user experiences end-to-end with strategic design - from initial ideation -> stakeholder presentations -> engineering hand-off -> A/B iterative testing.
  • Utilize data and user testing to make informed decisions and clearly communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Find areas of improvement, both normal UX & CRO, for our various verticals.
  • Identify process/strategy improvements within the team and successfully act on them with minimal prompting.
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor others, and create unity within the product/engineering team and cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Proactively dive into our data to uncover UX insights that enable our teams to drive performance increases for various metrics (i.e. revenue per session, CRO, etc.).

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 3-5 years experience working in the performance marketing/lead generation or similar industry.
  • Experience with one or more of the following UX/UI Platform, wireframing, or prototyping technologies: Figma, Sketch, Zeppelin, etc.
  • Creative tool suite experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies.
  • Experience designing user experiences driven by data/metrics like CRO or similar performance metrics.
  • Experienced working directly with Engineers/Developers.
  • Comfortability with design presentations, engineering handoffs, and providing / accepting feedback.
  • Able to concisely express your thought process, tailoring your conversations to your audience.
  • Knowledgeable and practiced within iterative A/B split testing and the concepts behind it.

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Technical knowledge and hands on experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Experience interpreting data using BI Tools like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Project Management/Task Management platforms like Asana, Jira, or other similar tools.
