About the Position

The Director of Product Marketing plays a critical role in bringing Laudio’s products to market and driving demand within the health system market. Reporting to the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, this individual is a key leader on the go-to-market team with responsibility for product positioning, messaging, collateral, content marketing, sales enablement, new product launches, and market intelligence.

As the Director of Product Marketing at Laudio, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and Conveying Clear Value Propositions:
    • Develop crisp and clear positioning to educate the market on Laudio’s value proposition and drive demand for our platform.
    • Create and maintain high-quality external marketing assets, including collateral, brochures, videos, and presentations.  
  • Creating Content and Delivering Marketing Campaigns:
    • Write and partner with graphic designers to develop content marketing assets, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, and videos.
    • Collaborate with growth marketing on effective quarterly campaigns, balancing proven ROI marketing tactics with creative new approaches.
    • Plan and coordinate thought leadership webinars with colleagues and customers.
  • Enabling the Sales and Client Engagement Teams:
    • Develop foundational product marketing training resources for the sales and client engagement teams (e.g. buyer personas, competitive intel).
    • Lead regular trainings to keep cross-functional teams up-to-date on market trends, competitors, and updates to messaging and materials.
  • Leading Communications for New Product Launches and Releases
    • Develop and coordinate robust product / feature launch plans in partnership with product management, client engagement, and sales.
    • Create effective customer-facing communications for quarterly product releases (e.g. customer webinars, emails).
  • Supporting Laudio’s Annual Conference
    • Serve as a core member of the planning team for Laudios’ annual conference.
    • Lead development of product-related sessions / forums and associated content.
  • Helping Drive Growth of Laudio Insights
    • Partner with the marketing team and President of Laudio Insights on multifaceted strategies to drive awareness and traction for Laudio Insights. 
    • Leverage buyer and market knowledge to inform the Insights content roadmap.
  • Overseeing Market and Competitive Intelligence 
    • Develop best practice market and competitive intelligence programs and materials to educate internal teams and inform company/product positioning.
    • Implement impactful “voice of the customer” frameworks and programs.

Requirements include:

  • 10+ years in marketing with at least 4 in product marketing
  • 2+ years experience marketing to health systems
  • Experience building and/or leading a product marketing function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Considerable experience creating high quality internal and external marketing assets from scratch (messaging, collateral, presentations, videos, white papers etc.)
  • A passion for creating content that drives demand
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced startup environment, including effectively managing multiple high-priority work streams simultaneously 
  • Proven competency balancing strategy development with tactical execution - a leader who sets direction and also “rolls up their sleeves”
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to drive initiatives with a high degree of autonomy
  • Successful experience leading cross-functional initiatives, including product launches  
  • Track record of partnering effectively with other functions (sales, product management, client engagement) on go-to-market strategy and execution

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in various environments with multiple distractions.
  • Must be able to travel.
