Project Manager

LastPass is looking for Project Manager, End User Experience:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects for our End User Experience Engineering team. This role will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, budget and timeline. Be one of the first project managers in our organization and play a pivotal role in building out and implementing best practices.

Who will you work with?

The Project Manager will collaborate across multiple teams:

• Engineering: Collaborate closely with engineers, leaders, and scrum masters to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Product: Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, researchers, and analysts to shape the product's strategic vision and prioritization.
• Business Ops: Partner closely with the business organization to ensure alignment of teams with company goals and objectives.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and resources. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria. Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to set project priorities.
• Collaborate with managers to efficiently allocate resources to ensure successful project execution. Collaborating closely with the team, monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed to maintain the project schedule.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor, address, and resolve risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. Maintain open and clear communication with all stakeholders, team members, executives, and external partners. Provide regular project status updates through written reports, presentations, and meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment, scope requirements, and manage expectations. Address concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee the execution of project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet success criteria. Monitor and track milestone progress to ensure project objectives are met.
• Identify internal and external dependencies and constraints and potential impact on project delivery. Track and review with cross-functional teams to communicate clear commitments and deliverables. Escalate issues early and work with teams to resolve them quickly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Document lessons learned for continuous process improvement. Implement project management best practices.
• Lead, collaborate, and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. Act as an escalation point to resolve project blockers.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

• Experience with cross-functional project management experience, ideally in a SaaS company with a working knowledge of the product development lifecycle.
• Excel at working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (We use Monday.com & Jira).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to establish credibility and adapt communication style based on the audience (executives, technical/non-technical team members).
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of industry best practices of project management and Agile.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.

It's great, but not required:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience working with global teams.
