DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer - Operations team

We are looking for an Expert DevOps/ Site Reliability Engineer, interested in sharing significant responsibilities in the deployment and day-to-day operations of a large-scale distributed malware analysis system across multiple continents. Must be motivated to learn new technologies and help shape company operations. We believe in infrastructure as code and building tools to automate and scale our infrastructure.

As DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer, you will be in charge of designing and automating the release process of these systems using state-of-the-art deployment technologies including docker on Kubernetes. You will be using different public cloud technologies and providers, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.

 Responsibilities:

 Manage a large-scale, private-cloud based infrastructure that supports the analysis of malware

  • Improve and manage application/configuration deployment tools
  • Implement system monitoring to ensure high availability
  • Shared on-call responsibility

 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 

  • 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Experience in building cloud infrastructure such as AWS and GCP
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Puppet, Terraform, Chef, Ansible)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (python preferred)
  • Experience with Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu preferred)
  • Experience with container based orchestration frameworks like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with source code revision control systems (Git)
  • Excellent debugging and  problem solving skills with the ability to work independently

 THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS WILL ENHANCE AN APPLICATION:  

  • Passion for automation and working with cutting edge technologies
  • Experience with load balancers(HAproxy, Nginx)
  • Hands on experience with database technologies(MySQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch)
  • Knowledge of uWSGI, Rabbitmq, DNS
  • Experience with non-cloud production environments (colo)
