What you’ll do
As a QA Analyst at Landor, you will be a key contributor to our branding team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital projects. You'll work alongside developers, designers, project managers, strategists, and other creatives, bringing your QA expertise to a diverse and collaborative environment. You'll be responsible for implementing and executing rigorous digital QA principles, identifying and resolving defects, and advocating for best practices across the department. This role offers the opportunity to break out of the constraints of a traditional technology team and contribute to innovative and impactful design solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into user stories and comprehensive test plans
- Execute functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing across various browsers and devices
- Investigate potential defects and work closely with developers, designers, and account managers to implement effective solutions
- Document, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools while reproducing issues reported by clients and internal teams
- Maintain a traceability matrix to ensure test coverage aligns with requirements and provide clear reports on testing progress and product quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and recommending process enhancements within the QA workflow
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advocate for best practices in digital QA
- Take ownership of your role, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
What you’ll need
- Strong technical sense, analytical skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction and quality
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, with meticulous attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of web technologies, browser/OS combinations, and device differentiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
- A degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred
- Experience with cross-browser/device web application testing
- Experience with using an online defect tracking tools like Jira
- Experience in manual software testing. Automation experience is a plus
- Fluency in English; immediate availability is an advantage
