What you'll do:
- Deploy personal computers (PC and Mac) and associated peripherals including new installations and the redeployment of existing equipment, install and configure software to agreed standards under the direction of the IT Leadership team. Ensure software license compliance.
- Maintain the existing personal computers and peripherals to standards determined by the IT Leadership team, by performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine maintenance procedures. Assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software, management of computers via Microsoft InTune or other management system and management and provision of accounts within Google Workspace and other SaaS applications.
- Establish and track IT goals, manage projects for new technology integration, and monitor the success of IT initiatives.
- Provide at all times a professional, courteous and rapid response to users for hardware/software, and implement security policies to protect company resources.
- Engage during the hiring process to understand needs of our new hires to ensure that from Day One our talent is set up for success and that technology is never a reason a new hire can’t work to their full potential from joining along with understanding what we do as the Global Design Studio and an understanding of designer requirements linked to creative output vs a mindset driven only by IT guidelines.
What you'll need:
- Knowledge/experience with: Windows, MacOS, Adobe, and Linux operating systems, Google Workspace, Rendering Software and other SaaS applications, Active Directory, Technical understanding of networking principles, implementation and troubleshooting.
- Technical understanding of security systems including firewall and VPN, Strong teamwork, communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems and familiarity with our software platforms including Microsoft 365 and various Graphic tools, sounds and visuals. Experience managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS) devices and prior experience with network administration (Cisco certification a plus).
- Personality and approachability is key in this role. This role is an interesting balance of technical requirements delivered by someone our talent will want to collaborate with (vs have to collaborate with which is often the situation with IT support)
