Role Overview
At Landor, the Brand Performance team measures, quantifies, predicts, and projects the impact of brand. This provides our clients with greater certainty over their strategic brand decisions and the impact on their business. And supports the strategic and creative brand transformation efforts with our wider Landor team.
We answer the key questions that clients challenge us with, including: which brand decisions will create the biggest financial uplift for our business? how can we optimize our brand portfolio? how far can our brands stretch? how do we make the business case to prove the commercial value of our brands?
We are seeking a Director, Brand Performance who will partner with our North America region and Global Brand Performance team to contribute to delivering key strategic projects that enable brand and business transformation and growing our modelling and analytics business in North America.
Job Responsibilities
- Acts as a data-driven consultant to Landor colleagues and clients, designing and executing each unique project approach to connect and analyze disparate data sources – from existing client financial data and syndicated research, new primary qualitative & quantitative research studies, and proprietary data sources – in order to generate actionable insights that can impact clients and the commercial impact of brands and experiences on their business
- Collaborates on projects with Strategy, Design, and Client Services as a fully integrated team to create world-class agile brands that unlock business growth
- Design, manage, and analyze data from primary research studies to support our Brand Performance tools such as brand equity and future impact modeling, brand monetization and valuation, brand portfolio optimization, brand-led business case development, and demand opportunity planning, among others
- Supports the Growth and Client Services teams to develop proposals, pitch materials, and articulate scopes of work, defining the Brand Performance plan for each client with creativity, precision and efficiency
- Supports the Global Brand Performance team to enhance, evolve, and create new offerings and methodologies
- Identifies and manages Brand Performance supplier relationships to ensure successful project delivery
- Partners and collaborates with the Global Brand Performance team and mentors/coaches junior Brand Performance team members
- Be a champion and advocate for Brand Performance within Landor and effectively communicate what we do, how we do it, and examples of our impact
Experience Needed
- 10+ years of experience in brand consulting or business consulting with a clear understanding of how brand contributes to business success
- Ideally with experience in B2C categories, such as CPG, Retail, and other consumer-facing categories
- Experience working with applied modelling methodologies across a range of quantification, measurement, and future-facing modelling approaches including financial models, ROI measurement, brand valuation, commercial KPI establishment, and predictive modelling tools.
- Proven ability to identify and communicate insights from research and data into actionable recommendations and implications on client brand and business strategies, with proven strategic thinking and execution skills
- Experience in designing, managing, and delivering data-driven approaches in support of brand equity and future impact modeling, brand monetization and valuation, brand portfolio optimization, brand-led business case development, or demand opportunity planning, among others
- Strong project management skills, with a keen ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing and growing client relationships
- Experience in developing, pitching and winning new business
