What you’ll do
Develop creative concepts and experience ideas for large and small format retail. Explore and conceptualise design solutions. Lead, develop and take a design strategy to deliver the best possible creative solutions.
- As part of our creative team, support Design Directors and fellow Designers to come up with innovative creative solutions that support project goals and create new, bold and progressive concepts.
- Conduct conceptual exploration, coming up with alternative design solutions to ensure no stone is left unturned.
- Evaluate design options, develop and push to find ‘big ideas’ based on design strategy and creative brief.
- Evaluate and develop competitive and breakthrough design strategies and plans.
What you’ll need
- Previous experience in a similar role within a brand/design agency.
- Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Twinmotion skills.
- An impressive portfolio, demonstrating recent work with a track record of creative idea generation and development.
- A clear understanding of materials and construction processes details.
- Excellent and current creative and design trend knowledge and skills.
- The ability to undertake brand audits, survey project sites, review competitors, study consumer profiles, behaviours, and mindsets.
- An ability to build strong working relationship, internally and externally.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clients.
