What you’ll do

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for driving quantitative analyses that will inform how we build and iterate on our product. You will be the analytical expert for a specific product area and will be a critical resource for product management, engineering, design, and other cross-functional team members. This role will report directly to the Head of Product Analytics.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our product — a delightful, smart, straightforward user experience that works in concert with precision underwriting
  • Make actionable recommendations about feature development and prioritization based on a deep understanding of user engagement and behavior
  • Define key metrics and build reports to turn data into knowledge that can be leveraged by the whole organization
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to assess the impact of product changes
  • Become an expert in our data elements and architecture to ensure data integrity and quality

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of experience in product analytics, conducting quantitative analysis on large datasets, or an equivalent analytical role (preferably at consumer tech company)
  • Strong SQL skills and an expertise in reporting tools like Tableau
  • Strong understanding of statistics or experimentation (i.e. A/B testing) 
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
  • A ruthless commitment to accuracy and data integrity, along with the understanding that data is one piece of a puzzle
  • A spirit of curiosity and generous listening
