What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage search campaigns through hands-on optimization and constant performance monitoring of our paid acquisition
  • Ensure a rapid pace of testing for search with the ability to define, measure and identify successful tests and scale successes
  • Be responsible for generating new search campaigns by working with our copywriters, as well as generating campaign ideas yourself
  • Effectively communicate insights and results
  • Work closely with our partnerships, product, and engineering teams
  • Take initiative to streamline processes, identify opportunities through exploratory data analysis, and think creatively to contribute value in ambiguous and unstructured problems
  • Work with larger performance marketing team to set and meet acquisition and business related goals
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, strategies and latest developments in paid search and contribute to the knowledge base of other marketing team members as well as sharing results with key stakeholders and executives

Who You Are

  • You are highly analytical and quantitative, and use metrics to help guide what you do
  • You are curious by nature and enjoy the act of looking under the hood when it comes to the analysis of both challenges and successes. You have a learning mentality
  • You are self-motivated, and enjoy bringing excellence to your work and sharing it with the team
  • You have a proven track record of running SEM campaign on Google AdWords, Bing, Yahoo; experience with search management platforms (DS3, Kenshoo, Marin) a strong plus

What You’ve Done

  • Minimum 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 2-3 focused on SEM
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Math, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
  • Experience manipulating large datasets through advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas) required; familiarity with Tableau and SQL queries preferred
  • Proficient with multiple analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adometry, Tune, etc.)
  • Experience working in a regulated industry and have an understanding of and embrace the execution idiosyncrasies associated with doing so
  • Experience with channels beyond search, including SEO, display ads and re-targeting campaigns a differentiator
