Unfortunately, the traditional life insurance process is unnecessarily burdensome, involving in-person meetings with agents, physical paperwork, and 6-8 weeks of waiting. What You'll Do

  • Create and execute organic social media strategy across all relevant platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, etc.), partnering with paid social counterpart to utilize each platform in a unique way that best engages target audiences
  • Create relevant, original, high-quality social posts and social media advertising campaigns for all platforms that build awareness and engagement
  • Monitor relevant websites daily for PR opportunities, including Google Alerts, Yelp, Twitter, Medium, etc.
  • Collaborate with content marketing lead to distribute Ladder content across platforms
  • Work closely across the organization to ensure content is consistent with overall brand objectives, strategy and product roadmap
  • Create clear social media goals across all platforms and consistently analyze and track results to keep marketing partners and senior management aware of progress - manage social analytics, social listening, set KPIs, develop metrics infrastructure to optimize organic and paid social campaigns
  • Advocate for Ladder in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate, managing online reputation responses
  • Present strategies, communicating their importance and impact to key stakeholders
  • Help develop and manage an active brand ambassador network of influencers to spread the word about Ladder
  • Develop and manage delivery of appropriate social media training/education programs for colleagues
  • Provide thought leadership and recommendations on latest social media trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant online media communications work experience, excellent writing skills, ability to demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the online market and social media channels
  • Minimum 2 years of blogging or other content marketing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of project or program management experience
  • Deep knowledge of the creative requirements and effectiveness of different social media marketing opportunities
  • Google Certified or familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Deep knowledge of social listening tools
  • Experience developing communities using social media
  • Ability to self-manage and take initiative, yet feel comfortable asking for direction
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, meet deadlines and deliver on multiple projects at the same time in a changing environment
  • Organized with keen attention to detail
  • Strong problem solver with a passion for collaboration
  • Flexibility to pivot and take on other responsibilities as needed
  • A mission-driven and compassionate attitude, and commitment to Ladder’s values
  • Optional: Reputation Management and grass roots marketing experience
  • Optional: Skilled in photography / videography, photo/video editing, as well as copywriting, editing
