This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days onsite in Richmond, VA.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of Software Engineers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack development.

  • Guide the development of an Enterprise API Platform using GraphQL Federation architecture to enhance core capabilities.

  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology discussions, and mentorship with the community.

  • Collaborate with Digital Product Managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions driving powerful experiences that help millions of customers achieve financial empowerment.

 

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with 2+ years as a Technical Team Lead (Internship experience does not apply)

  • 5+ years of core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Rest API’s, JPA, and SQL experience

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree

  • Angular, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js

  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
