We are currently looking for a very experienced Back End Architect and Development Lead. This role is Hybrid/Remote with an onsite requirement at our Kunai offices in Mexico City. The Senior Technology Lead will anchor our major financial client's development team in Mexico City. Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
  • At least 4 years of people management experience (in Agile environment)
  • A background in leading and influencing end to end application architecture, design and implementation
  • Strong experience with development languages like Java and JavaScript (React).
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
  • Familiarity with Snowflake for data warehousing solutions (nice to have).
  • Proficient in cloud services (Azure) and data models, API design, API development
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Prior enterprise-level or commercial software development experience
  • Financial services experience is strongly preferred
