We are seeking Software Engineering Leaders who are passionate about emerging technologies. You’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of modernizing a banking core that powers over $60 billion in annual transaction volume for over 100 million active payment cards for one of the largest credit card issuers in the world.
 
You will lead a team of Kunai engineers, building microservices in Go that will modernize core banking for a major worldwide financial institution.  Your team will facilitate the migration of the core itself from a legacy off-the-shelf system to a bespoke, purpose-built one, and actuate simpler core migrations and modernizations for decades to come.
 
We are looking to hire engineers who are well versed in Go and Java, as well as Python or JavaScript, AWS technologies, and API development.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
  • Experience writing production software in Golang and Java
  • Experience with other development languages such as Python, JavaScript or others
  • Strong API design and development experience 
  • Experience with core AWS Services (Fargate, Lambdas, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • DevOps Tools (Jenkins, Github, Docker, Etc…)
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with GraphQL
