About the Job:
Kroll Bond Rating Agency UK Limited is seeking an intern to join its CMBS group. The intern will have the opportunity to gain firsthand experience into the life of a credit rating agency analyst and to learn how to evaluate commercial real estate (“CRE”) and other valuable skills coveted in any corporate setting. We are looking for a candidate who will thrive in a dynamic environment where multitasking and analytical skills are essential. The position has an initial duration of at least 3 months starting in May or June. This role is based in KBRA’s London office.
Key Job Requirements:
- Assist in developing detailed cash flow analyses of CRE properties
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators for CRE loans.
- Assist in preparing reports and internal memos on various transactions.
- Provide general support for KBRA’s credit analysts.
- Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
- Contribute to data analysis and research support.
Required Key Skills:
- You excel in a fast-paced, intellectual, and friendly environment. You have a natural analytical aptitude towards problem solving and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the work done.
- Commercial real estate experience a plus.
- Graduate concentration in finance or economics.
- Strong Excel skills. You must be able to easily manipulate and format data sets.
- Extremely high attention to detail.
- Effective verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with partners in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
