With a focus on India, KRAFTON is dedicated to nurturing the gaming and start-up ecosystem. In line with this commitment, KRAFTON initiated the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) in October 2023. KIGI aims to support 6-10 teams annually with program durations ranging from six months to one year. Additionally, KRAFTON India has invested over $150 million in the Indian market in the past two years and has committed an additional $150 million to the Indian start-up ecosystem over the next three years.

Role Overview:

We are seeking for a talented and dynamic PR Team Member with 4-7 years of experience to join our Public Relations team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in PR with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. This role involves managing media relations, facilitating inter-team integration, creating strategic communication plans, and enhancing KRAFTON India’s brand image. A passion for gaming is essential, and relevant work experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Proactively pitch stories and manage media inquiries.
  • Press Materials: Write, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with KRAFTON’s brand voice
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute events such as Esports championship, press conferences, media briefings, and product launches. Coordinate logistics and manage event-related communications
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies that support KRAFTON India’s business objectives. Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Incident Management: Support incident communication efforts by preparing responses, and managing information flow.
  • Agency Integration: Manage and align with PR agency to drive deliverables
  • Employer Branding: Executing strategic initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice, managing internal and external communications to promote a positive workplace culture, and collaborating with internal teams to align branding efforts
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse PR campaign performance. Provide regular reports on media coverage, PR metrics, and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the gaming or technology industry.

Skillsets:

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and clear narratives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with media and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in planning and executing PR events.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and digital communication tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming industry.
