THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with over 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting. The ideal candidate will lead comprehensive data analysis projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and develop advanced analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making. They will be responsible for mentoring a team of analysts, driving process improvements, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Additionally, this role will involve building high-impact dashboards, leveraging data mining techniques to uncover trends, and presenting actionable insights to senior leadership to inform business strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead comprehensive data analysis projects, managing the entire process from data extraction to advanced statistical modeling and insightful reporting.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define strategic business questions and deliver actionable insights that inform key business decisions.
- Develop and optimize high-impact dashboards that monitor key performance indicators and provide clear visibility into business health.
- Leverage advanced data mining techniques to uncover trends and forecast business opportunities that support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and guide a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical growth, and excellence.
- Drive process improvements and automation within the analytics pipeline, increasing efficiency and scalability.
- Present complex data insights to senior leadership, offering clear recommendations that shape strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure an optimized data infrastructure for efficient access and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with a proven ability to lead data-driven initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Expertise in SQL for extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large, complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms, with a demonstrated ability to create intuitive and actionable dashboards.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, including data modeling, forecasting, and predictive analytics, with practical experience applying these techniques to business problems.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
- Proven organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in global companies or gaming companies.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) or big data technologies, with a focus on optimizing data access and infrastructure for analytics.
- Knowledge of machine learning or AI applications in data analytics.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience contributing to company-wide data strategies.
- Proficiency in Korean to effectively communicate with teams and stakeholders in Korea.
