The role
Our company is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to help us deliver a new portal for one of our most important customers. The initial project’s challenge is to build a best-in-class Blazor application for an important part of a large UK bank and is a key part of our business’s strategy in continuing to lead technological transformation in the UK mortgage industry.
Reporting directly to our Lead Engineer, you’ll be a critical member of our team in ensuring the project’s success. - Contributor to an expert team of .NET and Quality Assurance Engineers
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of robust software solutions
- Building and implementing automated tests using Selenium
- Help define and establish our QA approach and processes through collaboration with the Lead Engineer, the delivery team and the product Team
- Adhere to engineering best principles and practices
- Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure clear communication and make deliverables achievable
- Ensure any required documentation you are asked to provide is complete and accurate
- Follow specific policies regarding the project’s technical requirements
About you
As a Quality Assurance, you'll collaborate closely with our expert team of engineers and contribute to the delivery of robust software solutions. Your expertise in Selenium and commitment to quality will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our projects. Let's explore how you'll make an impact in defining and implementing our QA approach, driving excellence at every step of the software development lifecycle.
Must have:
- Experience of developing automated tests for .NET applications using Selenium
- Experience using Postman for API testing
- Experience working with .NET Blazor applications
- Playwright (bonus)
- Committed to quality software delivery, documentation and hitting deadlines
- Strong opinions on the role of QA throughout the software lifecycle, and will be comfortable making your voice heard to ensure that quality levels remain high.
- Experience designing and executing multiple types of testing solutions, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, performance, scalability, load and security tests, and able to explain the importance of each to both technical and non-technical users.
