Job Title: Software Engineer - Android

Location: Hyderabad, India

Position: Full Time Role

Position Reports to:  Manager, Customer Success Engineering


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Support for Kony Suite of products that span across Mobile Application Development Platform & Mobile Fabric
  • Work with Developers & Executives from Enterprise Technology Customer Organizations to help them use Kony products without issues & challenges
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success & Services teams in Kony to resolve customer issues , escalations and assist in use case implementations
  • Be a smartest Android & mobile technologists and contribute to product improvement
  • Be self-critical, questioning and committed to personal career growth & technical excellence of the team





Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences with at least 3 years of relevant experience in software development and support
  • 1 or 2 years of prior experience as Senior Engineer & in Android technologies
  • Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills is required
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing and maintaining applications using Android SDK & Android devices is required
  • Knowledge of Android Application Protocols and Engines is expected
  • Hands-on experience with Java Script, JS Framework, HTML5, CSS is an added advantage
  • Experience with other mobile OS like iOS, Windows will be differentiator
  • Knowledge / Experience in Mobile or Web development is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Direct interaction with customers/end-users is mandatory
  • Experience in one of the scripting languages like python, php is preferable
  • Prior experience in Product/Application Support is preferred
  • Experience in IDE based development like Microsoft Visual Studio or Adobe or Apache Flex
  • Should be able to deliver 24X7 support coverage to our global customer base
