Kolide is a VC-backed remote-first startup building device management and security software for fast-growing companies that value Honest Security. About The Job

The Revenue Operations Specialist is a new role at Kolide. Responsible for supporting the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to close and deliver exceptional value to customers. You will report directly to the Marketing leader.

This person needs to handle a myriad of tasks simultaneously, organizing their daily task list and working through it efficiently. The challenges we will put to this hire include:

  • How do we automate lead nurturing?
  • How long are leads spending in lead status?
  • How can we improve our website > signup > trial > conversion process?
  • How can we drive quicker adoption rates?

These are in addition to the regular required activities, including:

  • Lead sanitization in Hubspot
  • Lead qualification
  • Weekly sales reporting
  • Forecasting
  • Pipeline reporting and analysis

While you will be working independently on projects, you won’t be on your own. As you make promising progress on a goal, other team members will be ready to assist you at your request. It’s rare in practice that a major new initiative is driven from conception to production without the assistance of others.

Generally, this is not a customer-facing role but will require you to nurture leads via email and write email copy for automated processes.

About You

We are looking for someone relatively new to the workplace with some experience that is always beneficial. You’ve got to be sharp. Comfortable with numbers and have experience running excel reports, building formulas, and putting charts together. Working with HubSpot before is a huge plus.

You are naturally curious and relentless in finding the answers you seek. While this is a role that requires operational proficiency, we’ve found in practice that people with this personality will be driven to acquire any skills needed to get to the truth.

You are a clear thinker that can easily empathize with the goals of our revenue team. The data you work with might not always be perfect and will require a sharp eye for detail and a nose for smelling when things shouldn’t be as they appear.

This role will be a great entry into customer success, marketing, or sales and is ideal for someone who still hasn’t decided which path to take but knows they aspire for one of them.

We are a US-based remote-first company. You can work anywhere you want in North America and Hawaii as long as your working hours maintain a 3-hour overlap with the US eastern time zone.
