About the team and what we’ll build together
The Business Intelligence Report Developer will work as part of the Data & Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports in SQL Server 2017 Reporting Services (SSRS), and dashboards designed in Sigma Analytics, for multiple large-scale clients. The ability to write efficient and accurate SQL in a complex relational database is a requirement.  Knowledge of Snowflake and Star Schemas is a plus.


How you will make an impact
•    Writes, maintains, and repairs SQL processes that feed reporting applications.
•    Develops and maintains various business intelligence applications (reports, dashboards, scorecards) in SSRS and/or Sigma Analytics.
•    Provides feedback to the data warehouse build team to alert them to data issues or opportunities to expand the data warehouse and meet client expectations.
•    Creates and maintains documentation to inform clients and team about each reporting application.
•    Performs extensive unit testing of BI applications before handing off to QA.
•    Manage their own individual projects efficiently and to schedule with little oversight.
•    Respond quickly to reporting outages, identifying root causes and recommending a resolution.
•    Learn and understand the metrics and components of a loyalty program.

What you need to be successful   
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 5 years SQL programming experience.
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience developing reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (at least version 2008 R2)
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience developing dashboards with software such as Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense, etc.
•    Experience using source control software, such as BitBucket.
•    Ability to multi-task when required.
•    Focus on quality and attention to details.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with clients, internal development staff, business analysts, etc.
•    Ability to performance tune queries.
