About the team and what we’ll build together

As a Kobie Campaign Manager for our enterprise client, you’ll work closely with internal and external partners, delivering a broad range of services in the deployment of client loyalty marketing campaigns and email marketing. You’ll work closely with our client, and ensure and improve the performance, productivity, efficiencies in the creation and deployment of that client’s campaigns. As a team, we develop and deliver outstanding content and experiences that recognize members, help them get the most out of their loyalty and ultimately improve their lives.

 

How you will make an impact   

  • Gather and document client requirements, questioning and challenging as appropriate to ensure exact requirements are understood. Add value to the process and ensure that this is factored into client cost estimates.
  • Initiate and host kick-off meetings with internal as well as clients and external partners, documenting agreed-upon outputs.
  • Partner with Project Manager to identify all relevant internal/external resources that need to participate or contribute to the planning, specification, creation, or delivery of the client activity.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up, receipt of creative or tags, trafficking, troubleshooting, QA, and campaign optimization.
  • Build internal relationships to deliver the best customer experiences (i.e., Client Services, Analytics, and IT Operations teams).
  • Ensure that all appropriate sign off processes are completed on time.
  • Manage, create, and deploy campaigns, when necessary, including subscriber data, import and segmentation, on behalf of Kobie Marketing clients by executing tasks related to audience segmentation, email scheduling and email sending. 
  • Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to manage campaigns to success.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and ways to improve operational workflow.
  • Assist in scheduling deployments within multiple email service providers (primarily Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and Kobie Marketing’s proprietary software.
  • Develop robust campaign and process documentation, including client specific work instructions, and help to develop efficiencies in internal production processes.
  • Manage campaign specific priorities and resource allocation daily; work with Project Manager and Creative Teams to ensure all processes are being followed and find efficiencies as applicable.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for campaigns by working with internal analytics team.

 

What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a campaign management or account management role
  • 5-7+ years’ total career experience
  • Experience with a new client implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget) required.
  • Knowledge of SQL fundamentals or other database technologies preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and client deadlines with minimal oversight. 
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail
  • Ability to work directly with client-facing role.
  • Agency experience or corporate in-house agency experience

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Experience to Help You Stand Out as a Candidate:

  • Experience in SendGrid, Mail Chimp, Alterian, Iterable, or other ESPs would be an advantage.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or other process framework
  • Experience working in workflow management tool such as Workfront or JIRA
  • Knowledge of HTML / CSS fundamentals preferred.
  • Knowledge of AMPScript preferred.
