Working alongside our Facilities, Space Operations, IT, Legal, Launch and Client Success teams, the Security Operations Manager will be charged with owning and overseeing Knotel’s safety and security procedures. S/he will evaluate security infrastructure and create scalable processes to manage and execute security upgrades end to end.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the security and safety of employees and members at all Knotel locations
- Responsible for management and strategic planning of but not limited to- access control, security technologies (current & new installs), service requests, vendor contracts, creating SOP’s and training staff, fire and life safety preparedness, disaster recovery planning, site security audits and internal/external communication
- Serve as security liaison for all incidents, security projects, large events, law enforcement queries and members safety & security questions/concerns
- Develop regional Crisis Management Plans and training, and take the lead on responding to emergencies that impact Knotel sites, members and/or employees
- Identify trends of incidents and problematic equipment while creating holistic solutions
- Responsible for understanding local laws and codes in each Knotel market.
Who You Are
You’re systems thinker that is motivated by making welcoming and safe environments. You understand that when it comes to experiences, safety comes first. You’re a dedicated and results oriented leader who can not only work independently but can effectively partner cross-functionally. You also have the following:
- 7-10 years of commercial property/ building security management
- Strong understanding of customer service, project management and vendor management
- Ability to juggle multiple software applications while gathering and entering needed data
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing completed work, documents and weak points
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively
