Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing user-friendly, high-performance web applications using a variety of full stack web technologies. You will work closely with team leaders, product and design teams to create compelling user experiences built upon scalable and reliable systems.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Laravel PHP applications ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences using VueJS
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles and best practices to design and implement software solutions across the entire technology stack.
- Utilize design patterns to create efficient and maintainable code, ensuring the scalability and modularity of our systems.
- Manage and optimize MySQL databases, including query optimization, efficient data modeling and performance tuning via optimal indexing practices.
- Leverage AWS services to deploy, maintain, and scale web applications while ensuring security and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and technical objectives.
- Mentor and coach a growing team of intermediate/junior developers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record of building and maintaining web applications
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and familiarity with practical use of design patterns.
- Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, VueJs, React, or Angular
- Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress and PHPUnit
- Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable and high-performance web applications.
- A keen eye for observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices, Event driven architecture and their implementation and rollout.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in an Agile development environment.
- An understanding of SaaS software development practice, previous experience working on a SaaS product will be viewed favorably.
- Familiarity with common SaaS architecture/release concepts, such as continuous deployments, multi-tenant architectures and services layered architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Should be familiar with different forms of testing, such as unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing, and be able to write automated tests.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using GitHub Actions
- Technical proficiency in AI tooling, LLM's, AI/ML Cloud Deployment and associated libraries
- Familiarity with different types of machine learning algorithms such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning

- Be a team player with an eye for visual design and software usability.
- Maximize code reuse, reduce duplication with a focus on team mentorship
- Work independently and collaboratively.
