Klaviyo is looking for an Investor Relations MBA Intern who will be a key contributor to supporting the company on its path to public company readiness.  Reporting to the VP of Investor Relations, this role will help with external KPI benchmarking, peer group assessments, inverter targeting and corporate communications. 

The role will interact with senior leadership such as the CFO, VP of FP&A, VP of Accounting and other key stakeholders to support public company readiness. 

The internship will be 100% remote. The Internship will begin June 6, 2022, and end August 19, 2022. Interns will work full-time 40 hours per week during the 12-week program.

How you will make a difference:

  • Bring the external perspective by understanding the KPIs and strategies of public companies peers to support Klaviyo’s positioning
  • Help create investor presentations and craft communications so investors better understand Klaviyo’s investment highlights
  • Become the subject matter expert on SaaS sell-side analysts to help the business better understand what is most important to them

Who You Are

  • Current student of a 2-year MBA program graduating between May 2023 and August 2023
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an investor relations, FP&A, accounting or related role 
  • Experience working at a high growth SaaS company is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Advanced Google Sheets and Slides skills, experience with financial planning tools preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ownership mindset
  • Must have the ability to analyze and visualize financial data and prepare concise reports
  •  Strong communication and storytelling skills to assist management in understanding investor concerns and external benchmarking
