Klaviyo is looking for a Strategic Finance MBA Intern to join the Strategic Finance team. This internship will expose the intern to board and investor reporting, long range planning, corporate development and other strategic initiatives. This intern will interact with senior leadership and work cross-functionally with BI, FP&A and other internal stakeholders.

You will help support strategic decision making with rigorous and sound financial analysis and business modeling. In addition, you will help with key reporting deliverables and assist in any ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Through this experience you will learn about the corporate finance teams and develop the skills needed to effectively influence strategic business and investment decisions.

The internship will be 100% remote. The Internship will begin June 6, 2022, and end August 19, 2022. Interns will work full-time 40 hours per week during the 12-week program.

How you will make a difference:

  • Be a strategic partner - help plan, propose, lead, and execute strategic initiatives and own the end-to-end process.
  • Prepare regular reporting deliverables.
  • Work on complex and interesting problems that require creative solutions.
  • Explore new opportunities and channels and use data-driven analysis to identify actionable insights and recommendations.

Who You Are

  • Ideally pursuing an MBA and preferably in the first year of a top program.
  • Current student of a 2-year MBA program graduating between May 2023 and August 2023
  • Strong academic background with quantitative coursework.
  • Strong project management and financial modeling skills, problem-solving abilities and ownership mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and ideally proficient in data visualization tools but not required.
