KKR is looking for a talented professional who is passionate about client service to join its Real Estate Strategies Team.  This individual will bring a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience to the role and will primarily support one large separately managed account (SMA) that is new to KKR in Real Estate.  The role has two primary functions: (1) reporting and (2) project management.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced team. Given the expectation for this account to scale significantly over time, this seat will provide an opportunity to serve in a critical client service role.

The ability to work seamlessly and grow relationships across not only the Client & Partner Group, but also deal teams, service providers, and shared services such as technology, finance, tax, operations, liability management, cash management, and legal/compliance will be critical to the professional’s success.

Additionally, the ability to distill and synthetize data accurately and quickly, to communicate and report on key takeaways will be fundamental to this role.


The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Have or develop an understanding of real estate lending
  • Coordinate responses to ongoing (quarterly/annual) client deliverables and questionnaires
  • Become proficient in typical client reporting requirements, information requests and fund update materials and systems to ensure consistency and quality
  • Serve as the internal point of contact (or “hub”) for these client requests
  • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction across products
  • Audit and/or complete these requests as needed
  • Become a key stakeholder in various special projects specifically tied to client reporting and the overall client experience
  • Be open to managing or assisting with ad hoc projects and assignments


The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to quickly and accurately grasp a wide range of business concepts and work effectively within a team environment. They will bring a minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in the financial services industry in an operations, client service, data management or similar back/middle office function. 

Strong project management skills and a remarkable attention to detail are essential given the elevated servicing and custom reporting requirements of an SMA.  Candidates will ideally have work experience in alternative investments (private equity, real estate, infrastructure and/or credit) as well.
