OUR TEAM

Kinship is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join its collaborative, high impact, and highly motivated Strategic Finance team. This role will work across multiple business units to improve operating models, track budgets, and manage growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Finance, you will work closely with internal business partners to help drive the business towards its long term objective.

YOU WILL

  • Develop and monitor goals, highlighting trends and explaining causes of variances to forecast as part of period close process
  • Improve and own robust financial models for long range planning and rolling forecasts
  • Apply business judgement and financial insights to assist with decision making across products, and business operations
  • Design and own processes to track and evaluate product/subscriber performance and platform development
  • Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • 5+ years in finance, public accounting, banking, or consulting
  • Complex Excel modeling and data analytics (cohort analysis, marketing performance)
  • Experience working in high-tech startup environments
  • Comfortable working with all levels of management and experienced business partnering (marketing, sales, product, engineering, operations)
  • Can navigate through vast amounts of data, identify patterns and make relevant management decisions
  • Highest standards of accuracy
  • Can thrive with minimal structure and management
  • Can identify ways to improve existing analyses and processes
  • Design new processes, enhance existing reports, and build new models that make our financial data more relevant
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Anaplan, Looker, NetSuite
