As an experienced Phlebotomist, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism and collaboration. We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in New York. The hours will be determined based on availability and need, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts.
The hours for this position are Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:30am-3pm, Tuesdays 7:30am-12pm, and Saturdays 8:30am-3pm.

Verify request, patient and specimen information.
Draw blood from patients and process specimens following established procedures and techniques.
Follow in-process quality control procedures
Remain aware of patient emotional/physiological conditions and reports abnormal conditions to the proper people
Perform related duties, as required.
Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records
Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels from our own EMR
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
Ensure the patient environment is set up, organized and clean
Support and promote excellence in customer service
Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in your day to day
Desired Skills and Experience
Certified in Phlebotomy from a National Organization, preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year Phlebotomy experience OR Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant education program, required.
Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus
Strong communication skills & a team player
Willingness to be flexible and roll with the punches
Exemplifies strong customer service skills and professionalism
