About the role: #LI-Hybrid
As Senior Director of Product Management, Provider Platform you will be responsible for defining and executing our provider platform product strategy to enable K to increase the scale, efficiency, and quality of care we provide to our users. As K rapidly scales in terms of volumes of users and types of care we provide, building a best-in-class platform for our care team (doctors, nurses, clinical operations, customer support, etc.) is critical to our success.
In this role you will both drive execution and lead a team of high-performing product managers across squads focused on the Provider Experience, Clinical Operations, and Pharmacy & Fulfillment. This position reports to the VP of Product and is a highly visible role with regular interactions between senior management and key stakeholders across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and goals for our cross-functional teams focused on building a platform for our care teams to increase the scale, efficiency, and quality of care we provide
- Become an authority at K defining, understanding, and improving our care team efficiency and quality metrics
- Communicate our provider platform product strategy across the organization from our leadership team to cross-functional stakeholders to individual team members
- Use qualitative & quantitative insights and empathy to understand the needs of our care team and build solutions to enable them to provide great care to our users
- Collaborate closely with the leaders across the medical, customer support, and clinical operations teams to deeply understand their workflows, design scalable products & processes, and take them to market
- Build a team of all-star product managers and lead your team to own complex features, drive cross-functional execution, make high impact product decisions, and share results & insights across the organization.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of Product Management experience with at least 3-5 years specializing in operational focused products used by teams at scale
- Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
- Previous experience successfully managing product managers is required
- Direct experience partnering with operational teams to establish and scale excellent operational teams and processes
- Entrepreneurial drive and history of impactful execution. You have have demonstrated experience shipping innovative and impactful software products from conception to release in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Analytical chops and the ability to think creatively about how to get the data you need to best inform product decisions & strategy
- You’re able to uncover key challenges and prioritize opportunities that solve customer problems in ways that work for the business
- You work well with others towards shared goals, guide teams to manage conflicting points of view, and create an atmosphere of empathy and cooperation.
- You have a high attention to detail and can crisply, precisely, and effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders from senior executives to individual contributors.
- You’ve mentored product managers and cross-functional team members in how to work together to build great products.
