At Khan Academy, we’re building a comprehensive set of AP Statistics resources (videos, text-based explanations, and quizzes), and we’re looking for a video creator.
If you are passionate about statistics education and have experience explaining concepts at the AP level, we are looking for you! Join us on our mission to provide a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.
This is a paid contract position for 1-2 months, with the opportunity to extend based on performance and Khan Academy’s needs.
Produce videos to teach the core concepts of AP Statistics.
Deep understanding of statistics at the college level
Prior experience with video creation
Strong intuition for how students learn and insight into common misconceptions
Computer skills (e.g., familiarity with Google docs) and a willingness to learn how to use new tools
Excellent writing and time-management skills
At least 10 hours per week to commit to this project (can happen over the summer months)
A passion for education and a desire to change the world
