KHAN ACADEMY BRAZIL

Khan Academy Brazil aims to deliver a world class user experience to learners that is locally relevant with content, programs, and resources for teachers, schools, and districts. Our platform is a supplemental educational digital resource that offers interactive activities based on mastery-based learning for K-12 grades covering Math, Portuguese, and Science, all aligned to BNCC. We serve more than 6 million learners across our websites, apps and youtube channels and our goal is to scale the impact of our platform by focusing on partnerships with public districts in Brazil.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Khan Academy Brazil is seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to fill the role of Brazil Partner Operations Manager. The Brazil Partner Operations Manager will support our district partners in setting up and syncing rosters so that teachers, students, and administrators can easily access their rostered Khan Academy accounts. This individual will also identify support needs based on feedbacks from districts and our Help Center and deliver user experience insights to other functions at Khan Academy.

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the underlying processes for rostering students, teachers, and classrooms are organized, clear, and documented for our district implementation programs
  • Meet with district partners during the initial onboarding call to gather relevant rostering information and provide an overview of the rostering process
  • Document relevant rostering details for each school partner
  • Manage the technical setup of assigned student rosters, paying close attention to accuracy of data records
  • Closely monitor new partner account activation and provide support for any issues that arise
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding school partner onboarding and activation status
  • Support internal team members with technical issues reported by their district partners
  • Monitor the daily roster sync and contact school partners to confirm large roster changes
  • Facilitate support channels with district partners and identify improvement opportunities for user experience with Khan Academy
  • Support rostering and provisioning of Khan Academy accounts and licenses for other Latam countries

ABOUT YOU

What you bring:

  • An appreciation for learning how technology works at a deep level
  • An ability to identify when something is working as intended or if an issue needs to be addressed
  • An enjoyment for building, documenting, and improving internal processes so things run smoothly and all stakeholders are informed
  • Project management with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently with strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude to anticipate and resolve challenges effectively
  • Strong capabilities in managing schedules and logistical planning with excellent prioritization skills and follow-through
  • A flexible and people-first attitude
  • Residency or willingness and ability to relocate to São Paulo, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role, and permission to work in Brazil
  • Portuguese and English proficiency

You would be a great fit if you have:  

  • Experience working with rostering systems (Clever, Classlink, Layers, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, project management and productivity, and video recording and live video-conferencing tools

What is nice to have:

  • Knowledge of K-12 student information systems
  • Spanish at intermediate or higher level
