Khan Academy India aims to deliver a world class user experience that is locally relevant to learners in India and is enabled by a strong on-the-ground team and operations. Our learning system is mastery based, which allows students to master key concepts at a pace that is right for them before moving on to more challenging content. From serving under 500,000 learners in 2016, we are now serving almost 4 million learners a month across our websites, apps and youtube channels. These learners include both independent learners accessing us at home and teacher directed learners in schools. Our focus is to reach the underserved by making our content  accessible in local languages and by working with large public school systems. Khan Academy is available in Hindi, Hinglish, Kannada, Gujarati, Bangla, Tamil, Punjabi, Marathi and Assamese.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Schools engagement manager to drive our teacher engagement initiatives. The individual will be responsible for managing and executing projects, collating and sourcing data for creating marketing collaterals, and driving campaigns in collaboration with our internal teams, agency, and state coordinators, teachers, and students.

The core objective of this role is to support teacher engagement, with a focus on project management, account management, logistics, and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute projects targeting teacher engagement via various channels
  • Collaborate with school teams, agency, and state coordinators for campaign execution
  • Collate data from various sources to inform decision-making
  • Drive engagement activities with teachers, students, and parents
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to launch campaigns on time and within budget
  • Be a part of the schools team that works with state governments to increase usage in public and government schools

Skills Needed

  • Strong project and account management skills
  • Experience in working in a collaborative environment and driving projects where multiple stakeholders are involved (This experience is a must for the role)
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments/stakeholders to complete projects
  • Experience in data collation and analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and write in English and Hindi and create drafts for marketing materials
  • Passion for providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. Previous working experience in an edtech company is not a must

Contract Duration: 12 months
