We’re looking for a Vice President, Marketing Technology, (MarTech) preferably based in Los Angeles, CA or Dallas, TX, to work across our network (LA, NYC, Dallas) and client portfolio. This individual will be a leader, a partner and an expert.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as MarTech data and technology lead for all agency activities, including proposals, new business pitches, organic client growth, client deliverables, pricing, and timelines.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert for our clients and internal teams.
    • Contribute to design and continual improvement of marketing platforms/solutions built by the agency, our clients, and software vendors.
    • Research and propose cost effective technical solutions to address business challenges.
  • Sell through project work including strategic and tactical engagements.
    • Learn client’s business strategy and key objectives in order to provide a solution that ensures engagement success and value realization.
    • Initiate and own the discovery process to understand and document a client’s marketing data and technology ecosystem.
  • Help set vision and direction for a team of 30 as part of the K MarTech Leadership Team.
    • Directly and indirectly manage team members through leadership, mentoring, and teambuilding.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with data and software vendors.

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Strong understanding of the MarTech landscape and the value they bring.
  • Experience building custom MarTech blueprints and roadmaps.
  • Experience implementing and/or migrating large MarTech platforms.
  • Experience delivering presentations and pitches to executive-level management.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with large marketing customer database management, data hosting and processing.
  • Experience implementing and deploying marketing in multiple online channels (digital display, social, website personalization).
  • Working knowledge of database marketing analytics and how to operationalize campaign segmentation and execution.
  • Experience leading technical teams, including data engineers and application developers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build and grow client relationships.
  • Ability to influence broadly across client and internal functional teams to inspire change and improve business outcomes.
  • Experience building out a successful marketing professional services practice, ideally in the marketing operations and technology areas.


  • Prior experience leading MarTech development and innovation (preferably in the CRM space)
    • MarTech expertise including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target), Adobe Campaign Manager, or Oracle Responsys
    • Expertise in software development including
      • Strong proficiency in PHP
      • leading CI/CD methodologies (GitHub Actions)
      • Github (or Bitbucket, GitLap, Launchpad)
    • Hands on experience in platform development (Apache, Cloud Based serverless technologies)
    • Experience in database development (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)Expertise across PHP, Laravel, Drupal, Wordpress, HTML, CSS, SAAS, JavaScript
    • Successful track-record of solving process and architecture challenges
    • Embraces SCRUM agile development
  • 5+ years of team leadership and employee management 
    • Understands the value of analytics and how business KPIs provide insights to drive and direct the team
    • Enjoys working with a diverse team with wide range of skill sets
    • Experience leading teams across multiple geographies and timezones supporting a variety of projects
