The Video Strategy & Investment Manager will leverage cross-channel video experience, strategic expertise and strong communication skills to support Kepler’s Video Center of Excellence (COE). This role will report directly to Kepler’s Video COE lead and offers the opportunity to directly inform Kepler’s video strategy. This role will also support Kepler’s Client Solutions team, agency business development, video innovation, best practice implementation, product development, and more. Client Solutions team support will be a key focus of the role, supplementing existing client teams and supporting new business opportunities. 

Candidates should have 3-5+ years of cross-channel video experience and the ability to immediately add value across teams in need of both linear TV and OTT / CTV expertise.

In this critical role, you’ll become a trusted resource and thought leader across internal account teams. You’ll provide strategic guidance while displaying a deep understanding of clients' business goals. You’ll succeed if you possess a highly proactive / driven mindset, you’re a proven leader, have exceptional communication and quantitative skills, and are a creative problem solver with a deep understanding of today’s rapidly evolving video ecosystem.

What You Will Do:

  • Be an expert in leveraging digital and traditional media channels for maximum impact – including Over-the-Top (OTT), Connected TV (CTV), Linear TV, and Online Video amongst others
  • Function as an internal subject matter expert, taking a forward-thinking approach across all manners of cross-channel video investment
  • Continuously develop Kepler's cross-channel video infrastructure by evaluating key partner capabilities, facilitating cross-team adoption of best practices, and engaging in industry-facing events showcasing Kepler's thought leadership in the space
  • Tie day-to-day video execution to high-level client strategies
  • Ensure progress towards goals is communicated clearly and accurately
  • Drive Kepler’s Video COE priorities with internal account teams and via external client, publisher / partner and industry-facing groups
  • Lead multiple Kepler teams through cross-channel video campaign design and implementation – including strategic development, media buying and ad operations, overseeing reporting and analytics for assigned clients
  • Monitor and manage all aspects of daily client campaign performance
  • Lead on-site and remote client strategy and status meetings

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of cross-channel video investment experience, specifically planning, buying and stewarding both linear TV and OTT / CTV campaigns
  • Experience buying linear TV across broadcast TV, National Cable, and Data-driven Linear and local markets
  • Experience leading high visibility efforts and developing strategic cross-channel video investment strategies and overall best practices
  • Experience working with a range of platforms including but not limited to: Mediaocean, Google Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, Yahoo DSP, Amazon DSP, VideoAmp, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills; must be comfortable with MS Excel / Google Sheets, data analysis, and internet technologies
  • Strong ability to create, build, and leverage internal client teams and external partner relationships 
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable training and teaching others at scale
  • Ability to contribute to fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-based environment
  • A knack for acting as a leader and mentor for analysts and senior analysts on Kepler video teams. This role has no direct reports, but will be viewed as an internal subject matter expert and a trusted mentor.

Total Compensation:        

  • Base Salary: $85,000 - $106,300
  • Target Annualized Discretionary Bonus: 10% ($8,500 - $10,600)
  • Target Total Cash: $93,500 - $116,900
