Overview

The Activation team is the main interface between our clients and the rest of Kepler. We are not only responsible for building great relationships with our clients and delivering high-quality digital paid media campaigns, but we are also accountable for the growth and development of our client’s businesses. Whether that involves being first to market with new digital channels, supporting measurement journeys, providing innovative optimisation solutions or educational workshops, we pride ourselves on our strong client partnerships. 

We are currently looking for an Associate Director to join the Kepler team and become an integral part of our Singapore office. 

 

Job Responsibilities

As an Associate Director, you’ll work hands-on with our Activation teams in overseeing client engagements, developing media strategies, and ensuring Kepler is delivering high-quality work with our clients around the APAC region.  The Associate Director role is an office lead and actively delivers on Kepler company values, serving as a role model and motivating voice for the team.  You’ll work closely with the Singapore office’s senior leadership in this role integral to the continued growth of this team.

 

Job responsibilities 

  • Client management and media activation
    • Act as a trusted advisor to mid/senior-level clients and point of escalation as needed, providing guidance across the various aspects of digital media and Kepler processes 
    • Guide client strategy against broader marketing and business objectives
    • Drive cross-channel media planning and support Kepler teams on all aspects of the media activation process
  • Team and process development
    • Line manage, mentor, and train team members to help them develop their professional skills
    • Ensure efficient team workflow via standard Kepler processes, providing teams with up-to-date knowledge and training, leveraging Kepler global resources
  • Office leadership
    • Work closely with Singapore office leads to develop account staffing plans and professional development pathing for Activation team members
    • Support overall team spirit and well-being of the Singapore office via contributions to team social events, in-office administrative tasks, and quarterly office updates
    • Help manage ad hoc items such as business development inquiries and coordination with other global teams

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • 5+ years of agency-side digital planning and/or operational experience across a minimum of 2 of the following paid media channels: programmatic display, search, paid social, video, or retail
  • A proven passion for digital media/advertising & technology
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Previous line management experience
  • Excellent client service approach and ability to multitask with great attention to detail
  • A technical/analytical mind-set
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • A can-do mentality and motivational attitude
  • Comfortable in a small-team / small-office environment, flexing to provide guidance and support across a broad range of colleagues and activities
