The Vision:

Supercharge Napkyn’s Business Development efforts via all of the following:

  • Front line salesperson primarily responsible for generating new business sales with new clients
  • Collaborate with key executives and managers at Google to inform them of Napkyn offerings and credentials, generate leads for new business, gain information on target clients, and close opportunities
  • Support Napkyn client accounts leads to sell new opportunities to existing business
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to source new client opportunities
  • Lead the development of and deliver client pitch presentations

This critical role requires a combination of strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and selling skills, communication skills, presentation development experience, hustle, existing industry relationships, and dogged attention to detail & follow up.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Lead response development to new business RFIs and RFPs
  • Develop ongoing sales materials in response to potential client needs
  • Lead the development of draft client service proposals
  • Develop case study and credential library to accelerate response times for new inbound BD requests
  • Lead/attend prospect intro calls and meetings, project manage follow up items

Required skills:

  • Strong writing and communication skills, including presenting/public speaking
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically about client businesses and challenges across industries
  • Ability and desire to proactively identify and kick off projects (in alignment with client and prospect needs) without explicit guidance
  • Willingness to drop down and manage behind-the-scenes details
  • Strong organizational and project management skills in a dynamic environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of advertising technology ecosystem, media buying platforms
  • Comfort with ambiguity, a desire to trailblaze
  • Ability to build relationships, work well with clients, partners, and teammates

Target profile:

  • 5-10 years (minimum) of media and business development experience
  • Experience within Google reseller or digital media agency
  • Experience working at Google is a plus
  • Experience selling programmatic technology to advertisers
  • Comfortable operating in a small team, entrepreneurial mindset

We aim to offer competitive direct compensation and a rich indirect compensation program that demonstrates the value we place on our employees and their wellbeing.

Total Compensation:        

  • $126,900 - $218,300 base salary
  • 'Percentage of sales' commission structure
  • We are open to candidates are various levels which is reflected in the total compensation range
