Our Heavy Industries Group is looking to hire a New York State Licensed Hydraulic Crane Operator for a project in Painted Post, NY.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Safely operate hydraulic cranes in accordance with all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Inspect cranes before and after each use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Operate crane controls to lift, move, and position loads with precision and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with ground crew and signalers to coordinate crane movements.
  • Understand load capacities and adhere to weight limits to prevent overloading.
  • Adhere to all relevant industry regulations and standards, including OSHA requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on cranes, such as lubrication and minor repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or accidents during crane operations.
  • Stay updated on advances in crane technology, safety procedures, and regulations through training and professional development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • New York State License as a Hydraulic Crane Operator.
  • Proof of work experience with similar responsibilities as listed above.
  • Valid driver’s license.
