We are looking to hire an Estimator for our Building Group in St. Louis, Missouri.

Primary Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specification, and contract documents to establish scope of work and quantity takeoffs.
Request quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
Conduct bid phone calls.
Attend estimate kickoff meetings.
Complete assigned scope sheets
Attend any scope meetings related to project.
Complete meeting notes and distribute notes in estimating meetings.
Assist in preparing estimates for each phase of the design/build or budget process as well as for negotiated or competitive bids.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and find prospective new customers.
Complete quantity surveys and takeoffs of work and establish production rates.
Assist in estimates and work with senior estimators managers to form final estimates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
Experience using Procore, ProEst, Onscreen Takeoff, MC2 , Bluebeam. Not required but preferred.
Exceptional time management and customer relation skills
High attention to detail
