SHOP SERVICE TECHNICIAN

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clean, inspect, service, and test equipment upon return and prior to loading
Assist in loading and unloading equipment promptly and per company procedures
Assist in making minor repairs to equipment
Utilize company tools and equipment safely and properly
Perform tasks such as fueling equipment
Promptly report equipment problems and needed parts
Organize equipment in yard and maintain a clean company facility and workstation
Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies as needed
Operate company vehicles safely
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Assist the yard and shop with other tasks as needed

CHARACTERISTICS & ABILITIES VITAL TO THIS POSITION:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results oriented and organized multi-tasker
Easily adaptable to frequently changing tasks and responsibilities
Self-starter and not afraid to ask questions

EDUCATION AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1-3 years of relevant experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
CDL preferred
